Bid & Bill is a free, browser-based toolkit that helps independent contractors price jobs, send estimates and invoices, generate work orders and change orders, and review real profit — without accounts, servers or complicated contractor software. It follows the natural flow of a job: price it from real costs, send an estimate, generate a work order for the field, invoice it, issue a receipt, and run a profit review that compares estimated against actual. Every document reuses the same job data, so you enter the numbers once. Job data stays in your browser; there is no account to create and no database of your jobs anywhere else.
Bid & Bill is built around cost-based pricing and the difference between markup and margin. You enter your costs and your profit goal; the math produces a selling price and shows the resulting margin. The full set of formulas is documented in how the calculations work.
